reputation of medical care and also patient experience.

Board Certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology with subspecialty
certification in Pain Medicine.

Clinical Role:
-Interventional-focused pain practice treating a variety of pain disorders with
both injection therapy and responsible medication management as appropriate. –
-Offering patients, a variety of treatment options for pain control including
cervical, thoracic, lumbar epidural, and transforaminal injections, radiofrequency
ablations, ultrasound and PRP injections, joint injections, and spinal cord
stimulation and kyphoplasty/vertebroplasty.

Administrative Role as Owner/Medical Director/CEO
-Founded the practice from the ground up including site selection, market
analysis/need, securing financing for buildout and growth, insurance contract
negotiation, developing a strong referral base and reputation, and creating a
collaborative work culture. Currently employer for 9 individuals.
-Responsible for the overall function, vision, and expansion of the practice.
-Responsible for financial operations and profitability.
-Devising policies and procedures for a multitude of aspects of the practice for
employee safety and COVID transition
-Ensuring compliance with various LCDs for Medicare/MAC compliance.
-Contract evaluations and renegotiations with insurance carriers
-Overseeing billing and collections
-General computer networking and basic IT management of the company’s
network and computer hardware
-Wrote basic coding for templates used to see and evaluate patients ensuring
criteria are met for various evaluation/management the appropriate levels of
CPTs used for billing
-Have a fundamental knowledge of the overall function of running a business and
operations including employee management, product and device
procurement/negotiations, revenue cycle management for medical billing,
insurance contract negotiations

PAIN MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE

Interventional-focused pain practice treating a variety of pain disorders serving
the Washington DC metropolitan area. Was the managing partner for the
practice till Dec 2015. Was responsible for hiring new physicians, revenue cycle
management, overseeing billing/collections working with the billing team,
also responsible for designing and implementing new therapies and revenue
streams for the practice.

interactions at Norton Hospital, Louisville, KY.
