Meet Mr. DeCicco

I attended undergraduate and graduate school at California State University of Long Beach where I received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Master of Physical Therapy. I’m the founder/owner of RTA Physical Therapy. Being a former elite marathoner, I enjoy running, playing soccer, and spending time with my wife and two daughters. I’ve been working as a physical therapist for 17 years, and have taught at Long Beach State and Chapman University. I’ve also been an expert witness in litigation for physical therapy.

I’ve trained my physical therapy teams in Irvine and Laguna Hills to treat our patients like family in helping them return to their best life post-injury, and we are able to capture the gains and limitations of the patients in our documentation through their recovery process in a concise and thorough way.

Our manual therapy and function-based approach give the best outcomes, and the fact that you get to spend so much time 1:1 with a physical therapist (not an aide) makes the biggest difference in functional improvements for the patient in returning them to PLOF.
