Meet Dr. Lee

Dr. John Lee is a double board-certified physician in pain management and anesthesiology and leads the exceptional team at Wave Pain Specialists. His educational journey began at Saint Louis University, where he received his bachelor’s degree. Dr. Lee then pursued a medical degree at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine before completing a comprehensive internship at UCLA-Harbor Hospital and a residency at the University of Southern California. Notably, Dr. Lee refined his skills and knowledge during a distinguished residency at the world-renowned academic medical center, Keck Medicine of USC.

Dr. Lee’s extensive experience and expertise extend to the treatment and research of patients with chronic pain. His significant contributions include serving as the associate program director for the pain management program at USC. In this role, he developed innovative procedures and played a pivotal role in creating the curriculum for aspiring pain management specialists. Dr. Lee has also authored numerous articles, delving into topics such as alternative pain treatments, notably oral ketamine, and the application of genetics in chronic pain care.
