Meet Dr. Nakamoto
Dr. Nakamoto was born and raised from the small beach city of Manhattan Beach, CA. Throughout her life she danced competitively in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, modern and tap. She was also a Coxswain for a rowing club team at Marina Aquatic Center in Marina Del Rey, CA. Over the years, she experienced many injuries that would keep her from performing dance and she saw her rowers face their own injuries. She then transferred her injuries into energy to helping others with their own stories.
Dr. Nakamoto has a Sports Medicine background that specializes in chiropractic care. She graduated from Westmont College in Montecito, CA where she earned her B.S. in Kinesiology. She worked as a Student Athletic Trainer at Westmont working with Tennis, Track and Field, Baseball, Volleyball, and Basketball teams. She has over five plus years of experience in physical therapy, athletic training, athletic taping, and rehabilitation. In 2023, she graduated from LACC (Southern California University of Health and Sciences) as a Doctor of Chiropractic with an emphasis in Sports Medicine. She was awarded the Dr. McCoy Lester award for the student doctor that showed exceptional work in patient management, care, and diagnosis.
Dr. Nakamoto specializes in chiropractic care using the diversified technique, activator, mobilizations, and much more! She also performs muscle relaxation technique, cupping, muscle scrapping, and acupressure.
When Dr. Nakamoto isn’t in the office she’s probably on the mountain snowboarding, hanging out with french bulldogs, watching Formula1 or wine tasting.
